This is an app which can be used to engage students with a subject. Simply open the app and take a photograph of a face (yourface or a printed off picture of a celebrity) and then align the head, eyes, nose, lips and chin.
Once you’ve done this, click record and talk about a particular topic. You can then press play and the face will move and repeat your message. It honestly looks likes the image on screen is actually talking, and you can alter the pitch so it doesn’t sound like you. You can also customize the face with different make-up, expressions and costumes.
It’s easy to use but can really engage a reluctant learner in a topic or bring a subject to life – imagine having William Shakespeare introducing an English lesson or Henry VIII talking to the children about his wives.
