I wanted to quickly mention Photo Booth because it’s a fun app to use when enhancing a lesson.
The app simply accesses your camera and allows you to take a photograph, but also gives you a lot of different options for creating the type of photograph you’d like such as x-ray vision and an array of distorted or pattern type images. It’s very similar to a hall of mirrors but for photographs
Whilst it’s a very fun app, it can be used in creative ways. For example, why not use the thermal camera to demonstrate how somebody might see when using thermal vision, or use the mirror camera to demonstrate symmetry.
As I say, it’s an app which might not suit all lessons, but used correctly it can enhance a lesson and really engage the children.
