When studying space in science, there is no better app to bring the universe into the classroom than Space Journey.
Students will be presented with a 3D universe which they can move freely through using their fingers. When they want to explore a planet or its moons more closely, they simply click on that planet and receive information about it.
As with a lot of the apps in this book, it’s very easy to use but can really help bring a lesson to life and engage even the most reluctant learner.
Also, this app uses augmented reality and, by downloading a board from amazingspacejourney.com, children can scan the board and the planets will appear to be floating (on-screen) in the classroom.
This is a wonderful app for engaging students and bringing space to life.
